New waterfall

Created by the 2008 flash flood on Havasu Creek, new Rock Falls (unofficial name, about 30' high) is now a great place for swimming, jumping, and cooling off in this hot desert environment. Here, desert globemallow provide a foreground to a long exposure in afternoon shade.

Compare with sunlit view. See also my waterfall tag for examples familiar and remote.

For a tour of the canyon, see my complete Havasupai set.
