Haunted house

    Newer Older

I was looking for a book store today in the morning — it was supposed to be somewhere in the back yard of a certain street — and came across this half-destructed house.

Has a spooky feel to it!

ooh it seems too good for here but I like the subject; but its not spooky its just fairly ordinary it would need higher contrast to instil a sense of forboding

Only 4 pics in the pool (haven't been around here for a while). And my last few eeks with a genuinely lo res camera I reckon.

This one is good enough to keep. Mainly because the 'classical' entablature works well with the modern gates.

You may not have meant it but the whole black/white 'gridness' of the empty windows matching the gridness' of the gates is eerie in its almost Tarkovsky's Stalker vibe.

      I'm presuming gert_van_dermeersch meant keep4 so

Not too shabby, love the amped-up noise reduction.

2covincichrome: no noise reducing filters involved. Taken with a cameraphone, the only post-production was converting it to B&W.

(I just am curious.. it's a "cameraphone pic" regardless..)

2Jakes_World: erm... if I try to calculate this (I'm not too good at math) it'll be 0.3 MP. =) VGA camera that is.
