In This Quiet Place
After capturing the photos of the flowers (the last 3 shots in my photostream), I decided to go off by myself and see if I could find something special. There was a patch of woods about a quarter mile away and so I decided to explore and see what I could find.
Side Note: the weather has been amazing, but everything was (and is) still pretty much dead. So I'm finding it challenging to be inspired. What do I shoot? Dead twigs, a barren landscape? Everything around me seems so boring and depressing. I'm really having to push myself hard to find something-- to find that gem.
Well, back to my small journey. As I browsed through the swampy area, I soon noticed moss on a tree and nice golden sunlight. Aaah! Potential. I think this was the gem I was looking for (being the light and bokeh fan that I am). :) In that quiet place, alone, I crouched down on the soggy ground and captured the shot that fulfilled my journey. Anything after that didn't really matter-- I was happy. :)
Have a great weekend. I intend to catch up with all of your latest works very soon. Thanks for understanding. :)
