Megan and I went for a walk around downtown Seattle today, and this group of hydrangeas outside the Seattle Convention Center caught my eye. We had hydrangeas at our wedding last summer, though we went with green ones.
This was my first walk out with the D7000. After going about a year without a dSLR, it feels good to have one again, and I look forward to starting to post reguarly again!
Having used Canon up until now, the D7000 is my first Nikon. My first impressions have been positive, though I've run into one issue: I'm using the AE-L/AF-L button for AF-ON and I have AF-S and AF-C shutter priority set to release, but the shutter release does not cause the shutter to release unless focus lock has been acheived. I want the shutter release to take a picture regardless of whether or not the camera thinks the focus is good. Anybody got any ideas?
