'Out of Captivity'
Marc Gonsalves knows what it means to be free. That's because he knows what it means to lose your freedom. Gonsalves was a civilian contractor for the US military. He and two fellow contractors were flying a drug-surveillance mission over Colombia in 2003...when they crash-landed in the jungle. Guerrillas from the Marxist group, the FARC, kidnapped them. It would be five and a half years before they were rescued. Gonsalves, Keith Stansell, and Tom Howes have written a book about their ordeal. In "Out of Captivity," Gonsalves explains that your mindset becomes smaller when you're a hostage.
