      @marcelle - up there with my favorite ampersands, Mrs Eves, Perpetua & Serlio these too are sexy :)

      If you are interested in finding out the typeface, you could post a photo or two on briarpress.org, in their discussion area (they even have a page for type and press identification). It is a US-based site, but there are a ton of people who use it who know a lot about anything printerly-related, including something that might be from the UK or Europe. Plus, I know they'd love to see this!

      One of the nicest ampersands I've seen to date - nice and distressed as well - thats what I really like about old wood type !
