Thanks for the fav LB2K. :)

I was sort of thinking of Gormley's Field

To make a kind of quivr equivalent you'd need a lot of arrows and patience to stand them all up. :)

i like this a mix of randomness and good composition thats what its all about i think.

If you've got the patience to photoshop colour into a B&W film photo surely you've got the patience to stand up a few arrows??? Assuming they're not defective, my white one always takes some coaxing to stand up :) I like them all lying down - it looks more random than they would standing up. The characters in Gormley's Field are all different and unique but the arrows standing up (especially in monocolour) would look too identical.

Very good point . I think I'll have a fiddle with one of the ones where they're all lying down. But not tonight. :)

You having a long weekend? Don't often get daytime posts from you (not like Scuola:))

I think I prefer the image at the top because I like that individual blue arrow standing up. But the little image above is more engaging than the original version, the colour definitely adds something. Like this one you took at the Yorkshire sculpture park.

    Thanks . Indeed a long-weekend. :)

I agree about the one at top of this page being better than the second one. I was reasonably pleased with the Goldsworthy one but I'm sure there's a better 'coloured arrow in black/white or monochromed background' shot still to be made. :)
