March 27 – May 10, 2009
Opening reception, Thursday,
April 2, 5:30 – 7:30pm

Part of the Boston Cyberarts Festival

This group exhibition brought together photography and related media that visualizes and addresses digital information and systems. The artists considered or created new forms of syntax via digital processing or selection. The PRC participated in the first Cyberarts Festival in 1999 by hosting a digitally-themed version of our annual juried exhibition; this year, the PRC paaid homage to these beginnings by meditating on the pixels and programs themselves. Artists include Patti Ambrogi (Rochester, NY), Leigh Brodie (Austin, TX), Benno Friedman (Sheffield, MA), Meggan Gould (Topsham, ME), Brian Piana (Houston, TX), Mark J. Stock (Newton, MA), Luke Strosnider (Rochester, NY), and Matthew Swarts (Somerville, MA).
