Spring Cedar Waxwing
I heard a lot of chirping outside this morning. When I went out the door I saw that we had a flock of birds in our trees. Cedar Waxwings. Probably a hundred of them. I've never seen so many at one time. They were coming to the top of our pool cover to drink the water standing in pockets of melting ice.
For those who are wondering, this was taken in northwest Iowa.
