Caught in a snow storm within the tiny hamlet of Manyberries, the
tracks end here beside the original Canadian Pacific Railway Station.
It's since been converted to a residence/guest house.
CPR abandoned the branch line from just east of Stirling to Consul, Saskatchewan in the late 1990s. The tracks were pulled shortly after in early 2000 from Foremost to Consul.
I reached into the Jeep looking for some AA batteries to kickstart the frozen electric clock and restart those hands of time. I paused for a moment, and pondered that decision. I might alter my own virtual digital history books. Three ten is where it ended, I'd best continue on, some coyotes were howling over the hillside and the snow was piling up.
