The Falcon

Following up last year's very popular Death Star ornament is the Millennium Falcon! The ornament can either be hung from a tree or sit freely on a desk or shelf. Pop on over to my website to check it out!

I just realized how nice the backdrop looks. Do you mind me asking how you achieved that effect? It's really nice.

I've been toying with the idea of buying something via DbM since it's closing, just to have something from the service (I guess, really, it would mainly be the box that's 'special')... I might go with this - thanks for sharing the LXF with us!

Thanks for the comments, guys! Now, about the dish... there are compromises to be made when designing at such as small size. The build is fun, but of course, cannot be completely accurate at that scale. I didn't forgot about it, mind you — I placed a 1x1 stud on the hull to evoke to shape and placement of the dish. The alternative (for which I actually shot a photo) is to simply place a grey cheese wedge on that stud. It looks okay, but ultimately I thought it was too bulky.
