A 3D model of a minecraft-village, exported directly out of the game world using a modified minecraft.print() script, colored using CAD software, and printed on a Zprinter 650.

Look at the set for more pictures of the model:

OMGOMGOMG! You rule! This is absolutely wonderful. It's nice to see that it's *not* a Mineways print, though it must not have been fun to color by hand. Anyway, very cool that you did this with a modified minecraft.print() script. I'm all for any 3D Minecraft prints from whatever source to go into this group (which I would have called "Minecraft 3D Print" if I'd known there was something this awesome waiting in the wings).

That is quite the printer, much larger than anything Shapeways can print (or would want to - by Shapeways' pricing this thing would probably cost $3000). Thanks for giving me a glimpse of the future.

Aha, looking up the stats on the ZPrinter 650, this is the same one that Shapeways uses. Like I say, though, it's way larger than anything I could ever afford to print with them. Lovely!

One more followup: turns out it would run about $600 or so in color on Shapeways, see this

Can you upload a version without the tilt-shift effect?

Hey, thats not tilt-shift, but shallow depth of field. Check out the whole set for more pictures, for example this one shows the model with greater DOF:
