Loading air mails for the Empire: Croydon 1934

Croydon Airport was London's main airport from 1920 until the early 1950's. This poster designed for schools shows air mails for the British Empire being loaded onto an Imperial Airways plane. The blue air mail post van can be seen in the bottom left.
