Birds are Jerks
With blue skies and high winds, I trekked out to where I know I can find some soaring birds. They were very uncooperative and camera shy. Following both a red tailed hawk and an osprey, each teased me by keeping their distance on opposite sides of the park, and their flights short. Once I had given up and started the drive home, the hawk flew right over the car. On the long on-ramp, the osprey swooped down, floated along the highway with me for a few seconds and darted off. You'll have to take my word for it that they were both quite beautiful. And jerks. Big, feathered jerks.
