Robert and Sarah Evans great great great grandparents with 2 of their children

St Johns Cemetery, Ashley Street, Rangiora

 

My g g g grandparents Robert (b1827, Surrey, England, m25 Dec 1845 Surrey, England d1906 Kaiapoi, NZ) and Sarah (b1827 Surrey, England d 1911, Rangiora, NZ) EVANS nee KITCHENER buried with 2 of their 15 children - their son also named Robert who died aged 29 and was married and their daughter Sarah died 1869 of burns aged 10 years.

 

Robert and Sarah (senior) arrived in NZ aboard the 'Cressy' 1850 with their 2 eldest children [one, the eldest, Richard is buried with his wife Georgina in this cemetery. The other, Lucy, married Benjamin Smith PAWSEY who is buried here also but she remarried twice and do not know where she is buried).

    This is also my GGG Grandparents Robert and Sarah Evans whose daughter Jane Agnes married William Henry Ledbrook and their daughter Gerogina Sarah Sophia Evans married David John Weir and they had David Earnest Weir who maried Iris Ricketts and their son Kelvin married my mother ...............Cheers Kerry Weir

    That's very cool :) nice to meet distant cousins! :) Love to add you to my family tree information I've been researching the EVANS line for years...first one i attempted. Many people doing it. I had different information to what you have given above. If you supply an email to sarndra at sarndra dot com i will send you what i have... and we can sort out any discrepancies.
