Soar Eagle Soar

We had been observing a few bald eagles just sitting on the mud flats of the refuge when the sky began to open up with a little blue sky and sunshine appearing. The eagles just came out of nowhere and begin to soar. At one time I counted 15 eagles just gliding and soaring above me. Some were so high that they were little more than a speck. This is a juvenile bald eagle. They don't have the characteristic white head and tail until they are about three to five years years old and reach sexual maturity.
