An Indian Oasis of the unexpected | Ladakh, Aerial Shot, Leh city and surroundings
Blue Sky and white clouds
Snow capped mountains
Brown grassless mountains
shadows and hidden between 'em is tiny little fertility, an oasis.
Desert and the long roads leading to all the directions possible and slowly reaching towards the bigger civilization.. the blue river cascading through the riddled sand, tiny silver houses and green trees buried in the haystack of himalayas.
This was what I saw few minutes before I landed on the roof of the world for the first time. a site to behold and view which left many awestruck.. I dont know I could I capture it all in One photograph I took when I was in rapid shooting mode. I guess I just dint wanted my camera to miss nothing that I have laid my eyes upon. after all these were my very first moment with ladakh..:P
More About the shot- shot it from the plane of course few minutes before landing.
the Oasis on the top must be Stok village if not, possibly Phyang.
It was hard for me to do justice to this composition with so many elements, so I surely would appreciate if you have feedback on processing or better processing rather.. TIA.
