Florida Scrub Roseling (Callisia ornata)

The roselings are blooming again in the scrub at Jonathan Dickinson State Park. I look forward to these each year. They range from white with a tinge of pink to wild crazy pink! Though small (about 25mm) they are highly visible against the white sand. They are sometimes called Pink Spiderwort or Rosy Spiderwort.
