Day Two Hundred Eighty Seven

    Newer Older

    287/365. Salvationis life by choice

I have been severely "out of it" these last few days. By the time I get home I have enough energy to chat with my wife, eat dinner, then burning desires to crash overcome me.

    Not this time.

It's nearing 2am which tells me I've made it back to my old schedule.

Anyhow, this is me. Don't get it confused with that Megadeth album ;) That Hundred Pushups iPhone app is really taking its toll so I'm making sure I get this documented right.

On the topic of lighting, this is, I believe, my first "evenly lit" photo of the project, using two equally spaced umbrellas. Needless to say, the lighting was the easiest part.... aside from maybe holding my breath... (nah, the lighting was easier)

Off topic, if you have a blog/website, and you're on Twitter, we just launched our brand new Favorites Widget! If you decide to use it, drop me a tweet, I'd love to check out where people are using it.

And finally, back to the diagrams....

You're getting your $$$'s worth with that app :-) & the consistent work doesn't hurt either.

I like the soft sculpting of the L & R brolly light. Nice change from the harder snooted or bare flash side/rim light often used in torso shots like this. Remember this pose. You should do it again in a year from now, & a year after that. Then step back & observe the transformation, whatever the direction your body's journey follows.

      Nicely done as usual.
