Our scissors are now digital

Nick Bilton, I Live in the Future and here’s how it works (Crown Business, 2010. Page 40.)

"We're constantly cutting up content, picking out the best pieces, and passing it along. In the past, my mother used to something similar, but on a much smaller scale. She would grab a pair of scissors and snip interesting articles from the local newspaper or recipes she wanted to try from a magazine. Now a generation exists with the mentality that those scissors have been replaced with a mouse and an Internet connection.“

@circulating - thx! Ironically, my copy of the book is in hardcover, so I had to type the quote. Do I need an ebook reader?

lol... I have been reading so much ABOUT this book that I figured I need to read IT... I checked my library online catalog and they do not have it... and after I suggested they purchase it, I too considered getting it as an ebook... think it is about time for sure... :)
