I dropped my camera

It fell out of the car when I opened the back door. It is a Canon EF 24-70 f2.8L on a Canon EOS 1D 4mp DSLR. Except for the destroyed 77mm Hoya HMC SUPER UV filter, camera and lens works fine.

I dropped my Nikon down a flight of stairs, hitting all 12 wooden steps and landing on concrete at the bottom. Nothing but a minor scratch as damage. The camera works fine. Buy a Nikon I guess!

My 5D+24-70 f/2.8 fell from my shoulder coz the strap slipped. Good thing the lens had its hood on, otherwise this would have happened to me also. Both camera and lens still work, got away with just a chipped interior of the hood.

Motivation for all of us to use filters. Oy vey. My heart would have stopped, jumped out of my chest and done a flip. Glad all was well!
  • pointnshoot 5y

Also motivation to keep the hood on too.

I died a little inside when i saw this. Good thing its only the UV filter. A 1D would be hard to replace.
