Pastafarian Reflection

Behold, the Flying Spaghetti Monster in all His Noodly Glory.

My chosen entertainment while sewing together the noodles was my favorite History Channel TV series, Conquest. Specifically the episode on pirate weapons. (Of course.) Fortunately, I have that episode on TiVo, because the History Channel has inexplicably never released Conquest on DVD (or any other format for that matter.)

The meatballs were created using a modified version of the cat toy pattern in Debbie Stoller's Stitch 'n Bitch Nation. The pasta is just lots of i-cord, with some pipe cleaners knitted inside in strategic places, and 12mm plastic eyes. I used Pattons Classic Wool, and felted all the parts before sewing them together.
