Thalian Hall 04

These photos were taken at the historical theater, Thalian Hall, in Wilmington NC. Built in 1858, this gorgeous performance hall was restored to its original appearance in 1975. This is a regular location for films and shows such as "Dream A Little Dream", "Sleeping With The Enemy", "Young Indiana Jones", "Matlock" and "Dawson’s Creek".

 

I was planning on taking pictures of Wilmington that day but it was raining and ugly outside. Fortunately I found this magnificent theater and the people there were kind enough to let me set up my gear and take pictures for a couple hours. I hadn't taken any pictures in quite a while so it felt really good to start again. I used the HDR technique in photoshop to create this series of photos.
