The man who could walk through walls

This sculpture by Jean Marais is in Place Marcel Aymé, in the Montmartre district of Paris. It depicts 'The Man Who Could Walk Through Walls', a story written by Marcel Aymé in 1943. Touching the left hand of the sculpture is believed to transfer some of his ability to the toucher, which is why the left hand is brighter.
