May 19, 2006: Rain in Seattle? No way!

    Newer Older

Was in Seattle for the one-day Search Engine Watch Live workshop at the Hotel Monaco (which was good). When the workshop ended, went to dinner with Tassoula and Kelley (which was also good!). And then Tassoula, who couldn't believe I'd never seen some of the famous downtown sights before, showed me around the area quickly while we dodged rain drops. (Thanks TEK!)

Took about 5-10 pix, but this one -- even a bit crooked -- was the best.

Part of my 1/365 project: 1 photo per day for 365 days.

dantc, CascadeHush, yhoo_foodtraveler, and 16 other people added this photo to their favorites.

It was my pleasure, Matt! And I'm glad to see this shot turned out so well, despite the dismal weather. : )

You should come back soon for a real visit and cover ALL the landmarks!

I could not believe that this was your first trip to the Market. Sort of like me never having seen the Golden Gate Bridge.

Wow, a MichaelVox appearance on Flickr.... knock me over with a feather. :-)

Anyway, all our trips to Seattle are either spent N of downtown in the Space Needle area or S of downtown at the stadiums. Never had reason to hang out right in the middle of it all before....

...this coming from a man who spent 10 years in Washington before he tried Starbucks.
