So apparently, even though I paid $60 for this photo to be taken (plus tax), I don't own the copyright on it and have to mention that copyright is owned by Photobooth SF, who do not make it clear when you have your photo taken that you won't own it in any effective way. Apparently this is normal practice. In my opinion, it's fucking cheeky and has left a really bad taste in my mouth.
Otherwise it's a really beautiful image and if you're comfortable with the license I'd be incredibly keen to persuade other people to do it. And again—I know this is normal practice, but nonetheless to not be told this at the point of purchase seems disingenuous to me and might very well have changed my decision to have the photo taken.
