Delphinium bicolor

The distinct blue veins on the corolla and the lower pedicels that are markedly longer than the corolla are diagnostic of this species. The affinity of these herbs for growing within sagebrush plants is probably a function of intense trampling graxing by bison and other large ungulates that are abundant in this area.
