Sarcobatus vermiculatus

Sarcobatus vermiculatus, greasewood, predominates on alkaline or saline flats in the San Luis Valley between Blanca (just east of Fort Garland) through Alamosa and northward, in large part separating the sagebrush steppe from the Taos to Fort Garland area from that in the region of Gunnison, Colorado.
