Birthday Monkey

    Newer Older

This is how I spent my birthday yesterday -- I started the Monkey Socks from Knitty.

I'm using some custom-dyed sock yarn and I think it's knitting up beautifully with the pattern -- no unpleasant pooling. The only downside -- I think these socks will be a bit too big for me.

Needles: Lantern Moon Sox Stix (Ebony) - Size 1 (2.25 mm)

Happy birthday! what a way to spend it too! I love that idea :)

The yarn is beautiful. I love that green/brown mixed with the blue. I hope it fits!

Happy Birthday! I just cast on for some Monkey socks, too. Yours looks great! They do seem a little big, but I hope the lace stretches in the right way so that they'll fit...
