      If you were to calculate a correlation coefficient using the data represented by those points you would get a very highly significant positive correlation between IQ and net worth. You can tell that because of the way in which the points cluster most densely in the lower left hand corner of the graph.

      Don't know if I'll ever come by here again to see if anybody responded. But there's no way around it. That graph shows a highly significant positive correlation between IQ and net worth for the ranges of the variables presented.

      Without doing the math since I don't have the raw data, I can say that your statement is not entirely true. The graph does show a correlation between IQ < 100 and a net worth < $50,000. Remove that and you have a very weak tendency for greater net worth with higher IQ. The greater correlation is between wealth and drive.
