Quest of the past- Nostalgia

This is a plate similar to plates my grandfather's house used to have when I was a child, in which i had plentiful unforgettable meals in a huge family. I presume that this image has deep roots in the culture of middle east, it seems to allude to poetry of Omar Khayam whose poetry is about existential questions directed to god and his love for wine and women. This imprinted drawing has been circulating on these plates for a long time, i think. I don't know if the company from whichever country is producing anymore...

to the good memories of my grandparents! let it be...
