Nice female pose, although a touch overlapped by the heather roots. No direct sun

    Almost a good one

Nice one - shows them to be a lot more colourful than perceived at a distance

This is the money shot of the series - sharp, true colours, noble pose, nicely framed by the foliage....

    Tripod on lens or body?
  • Pixelda 5y

Martyn - set up on a gimbal, with a special plate on the lens foot - no way would the camera cope with that weight!

My favourite of the bunch. That some lens!

Seen on your photo stream. (?)

You're getting this stalking lark off to a T. This is my favourite of the bunch as well. How close where you when you took this?

Seen in my contacts' photos. (?)

Another cracker. Love the feather detail, and the heather overlap is only slightly annoying but is almost imperceptible. Hell of a set up to lug around the Heather.!

My fav of the bunch, well framed by the foliage..
    Nice shot :)

My favourite too - something to do with the pink-ish background, I think

    Cracking shot too

Congratulations. 400/2.8 & 5DMII combo is quite capable of yielding absolutely fantastic results ! Best of luck.
