Waterholes - Puerto Morelos, Riviera Maya, Mexico
I arrived at the hotel the night before but thought it would be too dangerous to venture on the reefs in the dark, on my own (actually gets pretty dangerous to the left of the shot - with bigger waves, really sharp reefs and pools that could easily trip you over if you're not careful). Sure enough though, I woke up before sunrise the next morning hoping to find something to shoot and this spot is the first of a few I stumbled upon... Bit of luck never hurts I guess! =)
Btw this was actually taken on the 31st, messed up the date when changing the clock on the camera. There's no way I would've been out of bed at that time on the 1st!
