Pictures of our "new" apartment :D

Built in the early 1930's, the whole building consists of 44 apartments. Some big, some small. I think the largest one has 184m/sqr .. ours is about the 6th largest at 115m/sqr.

There are four rooms, kitchen, bathroom, "maid's" room and a pantry.

It has a 11m long corridor where we'll create a gallery with dark red walls.

The last room has a balcony and a fireplace. Ainda has already "bags"'ed this room as her media/quiet time room.

A smaller room near the kitchen (white walls) will be my studio.

The yellow room will be a social room.

The blue room will be the bedroom.

Ceiling is 3.2m high. Floors are ORIGINAL boards from the 30's.. yes, even the "fresh & new" ones in the kitchen (see photo).

There's a bit of renovating to do like the kitchen, electricity, eliminating maid's room to make larger bathroom, total bathroom makeover, painting etc etc.

UPDATE: It's turned into a small nightmare. We had to redo the whole electrical installation, the paint from the walls was falling off WITH the cement, people failing to turn up like the 3 plumbers.. we eventually got a guy who looks exactly like Mario.

The bathroom is half done.
The three main rooms are more than half done.
The kitchen is being prepared.
