      This was a disaster. I couldn't get the sauce (roux) to thinking when I added the milk. So after 45 minutes and carefully reading the recipe I determined it meant two 1/2 cups, not 2 and 1/2 cups milk. Why not say 1 cup milk? When I started again and added "one cup" of milk it got too thick and was pretty much a ball of sticky cheese that was not easily mixed in with the noodles. 2 hours into what is supposed to be a 15-20 minute meal I have a toddler at my feet crying because she is hungry and cold macaroni and cheese that needs to be warmed in the microwave just to get it hot enough to eat. This recipe should not be labeled easy. I am a beginner and this was not easy. Moderate would be more appropriate. I came close to throwing it all out and ordering pizza.

      Just made this. Super easy and delicious! i used 1% milk since I didn't want to go to the store today (the day after Christmas) and it worked just great! Thanks!!!!
