Boston Fall Fashions 2011
Boston Fashion Week is marked by a plethora of fashion events. Two fashion shows, Fashion Night Out and Smiling Stiletto, both at Boston's Copley Place get things started.
The fall fashion shows continue on 2-Oct with "Here Comes the Bride". A double fashion event at The Mall at Chestnut Hill
Copley Cares: A fashion show to benefit the American Red Cross followed on 21-Oct
(1) Fashion Night Out kicks off a wave of events in the City with a fabulous show on September 8th at Center Court inside Copley Place. Models from Model Club Inc. took to a white catwalk wearing fall's latest fashions from Neiman Marcus, Elie Tahari, BCBG, Vince, Jimmy Choo, and Karen Millen.
(2) Smiling Stiletto presented its Signature Shoe Club Event, The Fall into Fashion Show, at Center Court on September 22. Curated by Lisa Donovan of KISS 108, and with an accent on footwear, shoe club members displayed impressive ensembles from Banana Republic, BCBG, Bebe, Cache, Elie Tahari, Karen Millen, Shoe Woo, and Tumi.
(3) "Here comes the Bride" held at The Mall at Chestnut hill was actually two shows - one displaying all the elegant gowns for the bride featuring designs by L'elite and Vera Wang, followed by another display of fine couture available from Ann Taylor, BCBG, Bloomindales, and Kate Spade all located whithin The Mall at Chestnut Hill.
(4) Kathy Benharris and Vicky Anson produced "Copley Cares" at Copley Place - a gala event hosted by WCVB's Bianca de la Garza as a benefit for the American Red Cross featuring presentations by Elie Tahari, Porsche Design, Swiss Army, Wolford, and Emporio Armani.
