A fitting tribute

These shoes carried me through rain and mud and endured hundreds of miles in training, and finally carried me across the finish line of the Honolulu Marathon.

 

I have a new pair waiting in the wings and these shoes will probably end up eventually in an athletic shoe recycling bin. Which is why I want to give this pair the recognition it deserves, while I still can.
