Ruttie Jinnah's last letter to her husband -I

S. S. Rajputana,

Marseilles 5 Oct 1928

Darling – thank you for all you have done. If ever in my bearing your once tuned senses found any irritability or unkindness – be assured that in my heart there was place only for a great tenderness and a greater pain – a pain my love without hurt. When one has been as near to the reality of Life (which after all is Death) as I have been dearest, one only remembers the beautiful and tender moments and all the rest becomes a half veiled mist of unrealities. Try and remember me beloved as the flower you plucked and not the flower you tread upon.

I have suffered much sweetheart because I have loved much. The measure of my agony has been in accord to the measure of my love.

Darling I love you – I love you – and had I loved you just a little less I might have remained with you – only after one has created a very beautiful blossom one does not drag it through the (go to the next pic)

dear doctor sb. Thankyou, Thankyou, for sharing this wonder with us! you never fail to inspire shock and awe at the same time :)

Mr Jinnah was an A- class QUALITY man!! Quality people are quality people. Despite their seeming eccentricities or superficial differences.

An enigma par excellence and a beautiful human being at heart and in person. Mr. Jinnah erased his personal self to achieve a larger goal. The one he was destined to fulfill as well (masha'allah).

which shows the beautiful quality of his thinking. Whether his appearance was that of any consequence to his public matters not, for they were able to relate to him to follow him to get them where they wanted to be. IN PAKISTAN.

His personal life with his wife as well as his other relations, daughter , cousins, relatives suffered greatly and the matters that remained private remained so.

But to be honest his writings, ambitions, and instructions in his public meeting show a great deal of emotion and love of a nation for man of his age and frailing health. Godknows had he succumbed to death any time before partition where would we be today?

I have nothing but a whole lot of love and admiration for mr jinnah and his daughter dina. may allah present her with the solace that she never found publically in speaking about her father.

Long live quaid-e-azam in our hearts and minds. long live Pakistan. (insha'allah)
