Mr. Mean again...
...and much better view large.
Good morning and sorry for being so late posting today. Got tied up with a socialist Irishman on a crusade...you know how that can go :-)
I know, this doesn't look like a fish, but I thought I would take a break from posting fish photos on Fridays. Instead you get Mr. Mean here being a Common Grackle (Quiscalus quiscula) so maybe I should call it Feathery Friday for a while.
When purging my bird file recently I discoverd a whole bunch of bird photos taken in 2009, that I never posted. I figured I better post some before they become way too dated. The above pic was taken in March, while the one in the comment section is from May. In spite of the unpopularity of these birds, as they can be quite the bullies to other birds at feeders, I find them to be quite beautiful. Strictly summer residents here as there are none to be found locally during the winter months.
Thank you for stopping by...and I hope you have a great Friday and weekend.
