Tank buddies...

...also known as Laurel & Hardy, due to one being quite shy and the other very outgoing.

Good morning and Happy Fishy Friday to everyone. Today's featured fish are two eels known as a Jaguar eel and Wolf eel, which as you can see by the above photo are quite the tank buddies. Whenever I visit the place I photograph fish these two always seem to be together. Of the two, the Jaguar eel is usually quite camera shy and will often retreat to the back of the tank when it sees me while the Wolf eel is just the opposite and usually swims right up to the glass as though to greet me.

Unfortunately I couldn't find any information on these two eels to share with you. Any search or research efforts turned up blank. So I apologize for that. All I do know is they are saltwater fish, and do not seem related to the Moray family of eels.

Thank you for visiting...and I hope you have a great Friday and upcoming weekend.
