Johnny Angel...

...and best viewed large. For you too young to know or remember, "Johnny Angel" is a song written by Lyn Duddy and Lee Pockriss and recorded by Shelley Fabares. It hit number one on the Billboard Hot 100 on April 7, 1962, during a 15-week run on the chart.

Good morning and Happy Fishy Friday to you. When comtemplating what to post today I realized I had only posted one series on Angelfish (Pterophyllum), which if you haven't seen already can be found here...

As a result decided to do this follow-on series featuring all the other different species I photographed. Being the above Golden Angelfish, followed by Pearlscale & Marble Angelfish pictured in the comment section.

This series is a tad longer than what I normally post, but I figured it was best to present all the remaining Angelfish together to give you a better appreciation of them collectively, and of some of the different varieties that can be found in the aquaria trade. In spite of it's length, I truly hope you enjoy this series on these beautiful fish and find the provided text in the comment section informative.

Thank you for visiting...and I hope you have a truly great Friday and upcoming weekend.
