'Sparks' On Black
5 more people
Electrical sparks over paper. The UV light from the arcs makes the paper glow blue.
Happy New Year!
How do you do this, putting pictures uploaded in April at the beginning of your photostream? This is cool! ... or am I experiencing a time warp?
Happy new Year????Is this new year on an alternative calendar? Not Chinese I think. Have you been drinking again? Let me see that Lagavulin bottle!
This is not at the beginning of my photostream! Look again. Is it a glitch in the matrix? You can change the order of photos in your stream, but I haven't done that here. (Top secret tip: You can edit the upload date. The stream is sorted in upload date order)
... well, it's just that New Year's Eve fireworks sprang to (my) mind!
Incidentally, the Lagavulin bottle HAS somewhat diminished since my Irish visitors have arrived ... (but they brought some nice
, so ...)
Weird, I could have sworn I checked twice and those photos were at the beginning ... well, possibly the heat wave we're currently experiencing here has shrivelled a couple of my brain cells ...
Thanks for the tip! Might come in handy if I discover that a picture is shamelessly neglected ;)
Ah yes, but I made these sparks with a screwdriver!
I am rather partial to Irish Whiskey. I have some rather nice Bushmills single malt around.
I think the practice of changing the upload date to move a photo to the beginning of your stream is called "bumping", so you bump a photo to the top. You can also hide one by giving it an early date.
... with ... a ... S-C-R-E-W-D-R-I-V-E-R??
Ah yes - Black Bush ... nice stuff, too!
You're a mint of information, thanks :)
Yes, a S-C-R-E-W-D-R-I-V-E-R!!
I connected a low voltage electrical supply to the screwdriver and a metal bar and stroked the screwdriver along the bar to make sparks. I have added some notes to explain what you see..
Black Bush is also very nice. Mine is 10 year old Single Malt, which is even nicer.
My mission - to educate, entertain and amaze! heh;). Thanks for leaving such nice comments:)
Unbelievable. You're some operator ... are you a physicist
or engineer or something?:)
Ooooo.... kay ..... - 'ts nicer, so! :))
Incidentally, my Lagavulin supplies have been exhausted tonight :o|
... you forgot "... to amuse"!
:)) OK, i'll take "unbelievably amusing engineer" as a compliment ;))
And Slainte! May your spirit never run dry.
