X-ray Gogs

    Newer Older

X-ray Gogs. At the center of the eye, you can see the lines of fabric sandwiched between the cardboard. The diffraction is supposed to simulate an X-ray. Needless to say this was taken for the Macro Mondays theme of fake/bogus.

Strobist info: SB-R200 @ 1/10 power into a homemade softbox on the right. A second, snooted SB-R200 at 1/40 from the rear to highlight the red eye fabric.

Those spirals remind me of "Time Tunnel". You sure these didn't also transport you back in time to lands of dodgy and flimsy film sets and poorly researched historical details.
