A Good Run
Pam trainers, Pams pic, so I'll let her comment when she's out of bed. She took this after running my ass off for 8 miles on Sunday! I still feel stiff now.
Phil and I started running a couple of years ago and I was amazed to find I could easily run 4 miles - yes, me - I've always said I'm not shaped to run. Anyway, tried to keep it up during the old chemo, but I got slower and slower and lots of aches and pains crept in - anyhow, all treatment has now finished and during this past week, I seem to have loads more energy when I'm exercising, the old muscles nolonger hurt and I'm able to go faster for longer. Needless to say I'm feeling on top of the world because of it. So, knuckling down and training hard for the half Marathon we've decided to do in April. Now all I need is to find some of that spare enthusiasm and joie de vive and apply it to my working life!!!
