Knox College ceiling - Doors Open Toronto
Knox College is a postgraduate theological college of the University of Toronto. Built of Credit Valley grey stone with Indiana Limestone trimmings and fashioned after Oxford and Cambridge Universities by architects Chapman and McGiffen, it is one of North America's finest examples of Collegiate Gothic architecture. In 1983, Toronto's Historical Board designated it a heritage site. The unique architectural features offer those who visit it a lovely and quiet oasis in the middle of a busy city.
