Templar Temple by Night in Midlothian Scotland (107)
In 1127 when Hugues de Payens, the first Grand Master of The Knights Templar, met with David I in Scotland he was granted the lands of Balantrodach. The village that is here today is called Temple as it stands near the site of Scotland’s principal and primary Preceptory. This set of pictures use long exposures to capture the full moon light. The combination of available light and flash light clearly show the several building phases and repairs to this ruined church.
