This Pullman car has been sitting in the same place since I moved here 30 years ago. Don't know why I never photographed it, but I decided to today. However while I was shooting the police pulled up and were walking around the property. I called to them, figured they were looking for me, well whoever the parked car belonged to.. and he wanted to know if I went into the building... I said no. All I had on me was my camera.
I told him I was a train enthusiast and was taking pictures of the train. I also told him, that two of my photos were in a photo exhibit for trains. He didn't believe me. . He asked for ID and I had to give him my license and registration.
After he gave my "papers" back to me. He told me not to go on the property to take photos any more.. I realized then I had my invitations with a train photo on them for the opening reception of the photo exhibit. I took it and gave it to him.
He smiled and said that's cool. But that train is so run down.. I said yeah I know but rust is beautiful in photos. So I think I'll make a copy and give it to him.
