Avro Lancaster Nose

Avro lancaster KB976 Mk10 and later Mk 10 (AR). Original Nose Section. Part of the first production batch to 300 aircraft ordered by Vickers Aircraft Ltd, Malton, Ontario, Canada. Flown to England in May 1945, it arrived too late to see operational service. KB 976 was retuned to Canada on the 17 June 1945. Post war, it was modified to a Mk 10 AR (Aerial Reconnaissance).
