Astronaut Dr. Donald Pettit Visit to the Rochester Institute of Technology
Astronaut Dr. Donald R Pettit presented his program "Astronauts' Guide to Photography in Space". Later he met with students at RIT's Center of Imaging Science, College of Imaging Arts and Science, and Center for Detectors.

RIT is directly involved in creating a process to repair images photographed using digital cameras on ISS (International Space Station).

RIT is a leader in the fields of Photography, Imaging Sciences, Detector Research and a host of other programs.

It is also the home of the National Technical Institute for the Deaf. An American Sign Language interpreter is seen in certain photographs.
