Maxillary Third Molar

Fort Worth, TX

Also known as, wisdom tooth of upper jaw (lower ones are called mandibular third molars). Because of its location in the back of the mouth, it is hard to brush it, therefore is prone to cavity and other complication, such as competing for space with other teeth as well as horizontal growth.

These teeth are in the middle of their evolutionary process and one day, they will become full blown molars and completely functional.
